Does anyone want to eat breakfast/lunch at clark with me. I always eat alone and I need friends :( (Breakfast at 9, lunch at 12:15?)

>>8397 I'm also looking for friends desu, I don't eat at dining halls but wouldn't mind packing my dinner in order to get some socializing time in before bedtime. Talley or one of the libraries could be a fun meetup, even for just sitting all together at a table and studying.
I would love to offer to sit with someone but I am terrified of potentially having to endure us awkwardly staring at each other the whole time
>>8436 We can sit with them together, anon! 3's no crowd, 3's a party!
Anybody here play MTG? Ive been getting into it but have no friends to FNM with
also how do i get to big mike
>get to big mike the person or the site? because the site was shut down a few months ago. If you're talking about the person, big mike is just prettyboy-yumi and his site is at https://prettyboytellem.com
>>8424 And if you want to meet the prettyboy himself you gotta come to those most lit meetups
I do not MTG and don't really plan to start. It's a pretty costly card game and despite being the most popular, I can't say it interests me much. Good luck, though, you can always hit up your FLGS for Magic nights, though, I know that pretty much every one in existence will have a Magic night pretty regularly.
Hai /ncsu/, local at-risk youth prettyboy-yumi here, admin of this holy space, coming to you with some exciting news. In response to the overwhelming amount of positive attention to what would otherwise be an un-discovered community on campus, we have decided to hold the annual friends' meet-up early this year. The HOWLER BACK TO SCHOOL PIZZA PARTY will be held Thursday, September 13th, 2018 on the NCSU Brickyard at 6:30PM. The staff and I will be supplying a metric truckload of pizza so please show up and eat with us; I will be upset if I have to bring any pizza back to my apartment.
I'll see you there!
Frequently asked questions: >Who can show up to this event? Anyone. Friends, suitemates, roomates, etc. >Is pre-gaming recommended? Recommended. >Will the moderators / sysadmins be there to complain about [how shitty the site is, how much the wordfilter sucks, etc.] Yes. >Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself!

physics instructor spent all of lecture today teaching a crash course to babby student's who didn't take calc yet, how is this system even expected to work

The trick is that the calculus in undergrad physics is only used in deriving the expressions On exams it's all algebra.
The calc in physics 1 is p much just derivations. Honestly I usually appreciate when profs go slow at the start of a semester because it helps me get into the groove. Im also really good at forgetting content I only learned a semester earlier lol. Just wait til you have to recall diffEQ a year and a half after you took it.
Need a spotter twice a week, literally anyone with working arms and the willingness to get up and go to Carmichael early as fuck. Personally going 6x a week. Open to anyone , from someone that's new and could use help in return or someone that already goes but could use a buddy on occasion.
If you're wondering, yes, I'm the retard that nearly killed himself with barely more than 1pl8 this morning because I didn't use a power rack.

>>8299 Was gonna try to but Mondays I start class early so it's a bit inconvenient. Glad to help when you need it though.
Anyone know if Carmichael is gonna be completely shut down with this nastiness?
>>8318 More than likely. Most things associated w/ the uni. will be shut down. i.e. on-campus stores and the coffee shops. I'm sure the di, actualyy >Under Condition 2, all non-mandatory operations are suspended and non-mandatory employees should not report to work until the university resumes normal operations. >All university residence halls, Greek Court and on-campus apartments will be open, and university dining facilities are planned to remain open (unless safety becomes an issue), throughout the duration of the storm. Just according to that link at the top of howler
