Not really much can be added , the pictures say it all.
Absolutely wonderful, spiderweb thin victorian silk jacket.
It is embroidered with soft pastel silk yarn in green and
pink.
Silk covered buttons i cream and pink.
Two button covered front panels.
This jacket might have belted at some time , which explains
that the front part of the jacket is longer than the back.
The front would have been pulled up a bit to give you
that "pigeon" chest that was so desired.
So sensual and romantic.
There is a 3 snap front,could be worn open or as a wrap jacket.
This is a true piece of fashion history,,Should really be in a fashion
museum.
