28920 No.9468

Here it goes:

APT. 303 (i.e. my apartment)

Bringing a handle is strongly encouraged. I made posters this time that I'll hang up around main-campus later this afternoon; feel free to bother me if you see me out there, I have bleached hair and I'll have a stack of papers and a lot of tape.

We're watching Cappadonna's Iron Fist Pillage; it's a kung-fu film dubbed by Cappadonna of the Wu-tang Clan and it looks like it'll be a good film.

See you there, both new friends and old~ ^-^`

>American students so poor they can't drop 20 bucks on booze

Bring a sixer of rolling rock

>> No.9480

the issue isn’t money, it’s more of an “ I can’t legally buy alcohol thing” totally willing to bring food/other stuff if that’s okay though

>> No.9481

food would be much appreciated! ^-^
I am actively buying America's #2 spiced rum because it just doesn't feel like a college party w/o the admiral

>> No.9482

>> No.9490

That sounds nice, I have a collection of herbal teas I would love to share.

>> No.9492

We could do yum cha and get rid of ingredients in our apartments before the semester ends.

>> No.9493

Wish we had a samovar my teabros

>> No.9501

How does 2:30pm ~ at least 7pm on the 20th or 21st sound? We could all bring food & drinks and play card games and shoot the shit for a while.

>> No.9502

sounds dope. Are there four of us? Durak and tarot require 4 people.
What type of vittles should I bring?

>> No.9503

Anything that pairs well with tea. I personally plan on bringing a wide range of teas including pu'er, jasmine, lapsang souchong, ceylon and sencha so basically anything will work. Just make sure that its something that doesnt spoil fast or you can prepare on the wherever its hosted. Idk who is hosting it, need to check with howlermoot to see if he is ok with hosting (his place has plenty of seating). A friend and I plan on making savory food (gyoza, shrimp toast, mapo tofu) and I know that Führeranon wants to join in on bringing something too. Idk how many people are going so it might be a good idea to bring a personal mug + spare tea brewing devices.

>> No.9504

Also just to be nice to whoever is hosting the party I think we should get paper towels/disposable plates&bowls(not foam, those will melt)/disposable cutlery.
We should post in this thread what we're bringing so we don't get duplicates.

>> No.9505

Make a separate thread once we've figured out where / concretely when!

>> No.9528

Friday 1/19, sometime after 12pm
Same details as discussed above, the location is likely the same place as the previous howler meeting. The alternative location is 5 mins away. Bring food & drinks, the event will sort of a long lunch & dinner with snacks in between. Anyone with decent crepe making skills please come.

>> No.9530

друг пожа́луйста, we eating блин up in this joint :^)

Also, will bring extra teapots, bagged tea, and dope-ass lemon-basil oolong.
vive /swt/!

>> No.9531

my crepes always come out a little crunchy, but I will gladly lend my skillz (and farm fresh eggs). I will also bring my off brand nutella, but if you guys want some savory stuff for the crepes feel free to bring some stuff :D (ham crepes are tasty imo)

>> No.9532

sounds like fun. hosting it at my place should be fine... that's the same place as the OP.

gotta clean a bit but I'll be ready; how does starting at 1PM sound? tbh I'm good with w/e (no class Fridays are great) and I'm just going to spend that morning lazing around in my books.

>> No.9535

will we be continuing into the night as crepes and tea slowly transmute into liquor and taco bell?

>> No.9536

it depends (as in all democracy) upon the intent and will of the people.

I can say with certainty that I will not quit at tea and everyone is welcome to join in; to that end everyone is encouraged to bring a handle of your favorite liquer / whatever.

I cleaned some today.

What kind of milk? I will get some fruits and jams because those good well with crêpe things.

I have lots of spearmint / herbal teas here at the flat.
